Pick-up is available between 07:00 AM and 08:00 AM.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel or designated meeting point in Labuan Bajo before we begin the journey.
Day 1
Labuan Bajo → Denge Village → Wae Rebo
The journey begins in Labuan Bajo with a scenic road trip towards Denge Village.
After lunch and preparations, leave the road behind and begin the trek through the forest towards Wae Rebo.
Once you arrive, take part in the traditional welcoming ceremony, spend time experiencing the daily life of the community, and settle in for dinner and a night inside Mbaru Niang.
Overnight in Wae Rebo.
Day 2
Wae rebo → Denge Village → Lembor → Labuan Bajo
Wake up to breakfast with the local community and spend some time exploring the village before beginning the trek back down to Denge.
After lunch, continue the journey towards Labuan Bajo with a stop at the iconic Lembor Spider Web Rice Fields.
Return to Labuan Bajo.

Before You Go
Wae Rebo is beautiful, but getting there requires a little effort.
You’ll spend several hours on the road, trek uphill through the forest, and spend the night in a traditional village in the mountains.
Come prepared for the journey, and you’ll enjoy the destination even more.

Come Ready For The Climb
The trek to Wae Rebo is not a quick walk from the car park.
It takes around two to three hours from Denge to the village, depending on your pace and physical condition.
The trail climbs through the forest, and some parts can feel challenging. You don’t need to be an athlete. But you should come with a reasonable level of fitness and be prepared to walk uphill for several hours.
Take your time. The village isn’t going anywhere.
When To Go
Wae Rebo can be visited throughout the year, but the experience can change with the weather.
Rain can make the trail wetter and more challenging, while clearer days can offer different views along the journey. The village itself has a quiet beauty in every season.

If weather conditions make the journey unsafe, we will always prioritise your safety over following the original itinerary.

The trek to Wae Rebo takes approximately 2–3 hours each way and can be physically demanding.
The duration may vary depending on weather, trail conditions, and your personal pace and physical condition.
Please make sure you are comfortable with the physical demands of the journey before booking.

If the journey cannot safely continue or the village becomes inaccessible, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled.
