A full day exploring Komodo by Luxury Open Deck from island viewpoints and pink beaches to clear waters and sunset encounters.
1 Day Trip
OPEN EVERYDAY
labuan bajo
A day on the water has its own rhythm.
There’s time to take in the views, enjoy the open deck, and simply be present as Komodo unfolds around you.
Four iconic stops, one beautiful day at sea. Explore Padar, unwind at Pink Beach, discover Rinca, and end the journey with sunset at Kalong Island.
YOU WANT TO SEE A LOT IN ONE DAY
Four iconic stops packed into one day on the water. It’s a great way to experience Komodo if you’re short on time but still want the full adventure.
YOU LIKE YOUR DAY WITH A LITTLE COMFORT
You’ll be sailing on a spacious luxury open-deck boat, with room to sit back, enjoy the views, and take the journey at your own pace.
YOU’RE HAPPY TO KEEP MOVING
There’s plenty to see and do, from island viewpoints and beach time to meeting Komodo dragons and watching the sunset. It’s a full day, so come ready to explore.
YOU WANT KOMODO WITHOUT STAYING OVERNIGHT
If sleeping on a boat isn’t quite your thing, this gives you a taste of the Komodo experience while bringing you back to Labuan Bajo the same day.
YOU PREFER SLOW, UNPLANNED DAYS
With four destinations in one day, the pace is naturally more active. There’s a lot to experience, so this trip is better suited to travellers who don’t mind keeping things moving.
YOU’RE LOOKING FOR AN OVERNIGHT SAILING EXPERIENCE
This is a full-day trip, so there’s no sleeping on the boat or waking up at sea. If that’s what you’re after, our 2D1N or 3D2N sailing trips might be a better fit.
YOU DON’T ENJOY BEING OUTDOORS FOR MOST OF THE DAY
You’ll spend most of the day on the water and moving between islands. Expect sun, walking, and a little bit of adventure along the way.

Sunset Time
A full day on an open-deck boat follows its own rhythm.
You’ll start early, spend most of the day outdoors, move between islands, get in the water, walk through the landscapes of Komodo, and spend plenty of time simply sailing.
It’s active, scenic, and sometimes a little tiring in the best possible way.
Wake Up Early
The best days in Komodo often begin before the sun is fully up.
Move From Island To Island
There is always another landscape waiting somewhere ahead.
Slow Down
Not every moment needs to be filled. Sometimes, the best part is simply sitting on deck and taking in the view.
This is a full day sailing trip, which means the sea is part of the experience.
You will spend most of your time outdoors and move between islands by boat. The itinerary may change depending on weather, sea conditions, and operational considerations. Some destinations require walking or trekking, and the day can be warm, active, and physically demanding at times.
We plan every journey carefully, but Komodo is nature — which means not everything can be guaranteed.

Some destinations require walking or trekking.
Mobile signal may be limited in certain areas.
The boat is Open Deck, so you will spend the day outdoors.
The sea can be unpredictable and that’s part of the adventure.
Komodo is not the kind of place you should rush through.
Yes, this is a full day trip. Yes, there are four destinations to visit. But we also believe that the journey between the destinations matters. The changing scenery. The breeze on the boat. The moments between one stop and the next. So come ready to explore, get a little sun, get in the water, and see a lot in one day.
We’ll take care of the journey. You just have to be ready for the day.
Warmly,
Katura

A full day by speedboat moves at a different rhythm.
You’ll start early and spend the day moving from one island to the next. There’s trekking at Padar, beach time, Komodo sightseeing, snorkeling, and plenty of time out on the water.
It’s active, scenic, and full — the kind of day where you’ll probably head back to Labuan Bajo tired, sun-kissed, and happy.

The best days in Komodo often begin before the sun is fully up.
Keep Moving
There’s always another island, beach, or underwater spot waiting ahead.
Make It Count
One day, six stops, and plenty of moments to take home.
This is a full and active day on the water, with an early start and several stops along the way.
You’ll spend most of the day outdoors, moving between islands by speedboat, with time for trekking, beach stops, sightseeing, and snorkeling. The schedule is fairly full, so expect an energetic day with plenty of time in the sun and on the water.
The itinerary may change depending on weather, sea conditions, tides, and operational considerations. Some stops require walking or trekking, and conditions can be warm and physically demanding at times.

Some days are made for taking it slow. This one is made for seeing more.
A full-day speedboat trip means an early start and a lot of ground to cover, but that’s exactly what makes it special. In one day, you’ll move between islands, viewpoints, beaches, and some of Komodo’s best-known underwater spots.
It can be a long and active day, so come ready for an early morning, plenty of time outdoors, and a whole lot of sea.
We’ll take care of the journey. You just enjoy the day.

Spend some time exploring the village and experiencing the surroundings before starting your journey back.
Trek from Wae Rebo back to Denge.

Explore Lowok Beach.
Continue to the Nuca Molas Lighthouse.
Head back to Labuan Bajo
This is not a trip where every day looks the same.
Some days begin with an early morning view. Some are spent in the water. Some take you through places you may never have heard of before.
And in between it all, there are long stretches of open sea
THE MOUNTAINS
The first part of the journey takes you through the roads and forest trails of Flores, towards the remote village of Wae Rebo.
THE DESCENT
After breakfast and some time exploring the village, begin the journey back down to Denge.
THE VILLAGE
A traditional welcome, a shared meal, a night inside Mbaru Niang, and time to experience the everyday rhythm of the local community.
THE SEA
From Denge, continue by boat towards Nuca Molas and leave the mountains behind.
THE ISLAND
Spend the afternoon exploring the coast of Nuca Molas, stopping at Lowok Beach and continuing towards the Nuca Molas Lighthouse.
Wae Rebo is a mountain village, and reaching it requires a trek.
The first day involves a four to five-hour road trip followed by a two to three-hour uphill trek to Wae Rebo
The second day begins with another trek back down before continuing by boat to Nuca Molas.
Mobile signal may be lost
You’ll be moving between roads, mountain trails, traditional village spaces, beaches, and boats.
The itinerary may change depending on weather, sea conditions, and operational considerations. Come prepared for an active journey with different kinds of terrain and changing conditions.
Some journeys feel like two trips in one.
Wae Rebo takes you into the mountains, where the final stretch is on foot and the pace naturally slows down. Then, just as the landscape begins to change, the journey heads back towards the sea and on to Nuca Molas.
We love this trip because the contrast is part of what makes it special. One day is about walking, village life, and mountain air. The next is about open water, island views, and a completely different rhythm.
Come for the contrast. Stay for everything in between.
Warmly,
Katura

SEE YOU ON ANOTHER TRIP!
This is a road trip through a constantly changing landscape.
THE WEST
Begin with clear waters, dramatic coastlines, and traditional villages in West Sumba
THE ROAD EAST
The journey continues through waterfalls, villages, and open landscapes as you cross the island.
THE HILLS
Watch the landscape unfold from above at Wairinding and Tenau Hill.
THE WILDER SIDE
Follow the road towards savannas and waterfalls that feel far removed from the usual tourist trail.
THE COAST
End the journey in East Sumba, where the day slows down at Walakiri Beach.
This is a road trip
You’ll spend a significant amount of time travelling by car between destinations, but that is part of what makes the experience possible.
Sumba is a large island, and the landscapes change dramatically as you move from west to east.
Some destinations require walking on uneven ground, and the roads between destinations can be long.
The reward is seeing more of the island than you would by staying in just one area.
Sumba has a way of making the road feel like part of the destination.
The landscape keeps changing. One moment, you’re standing beside clear turquoise water. A few hours later, you’re looking across a vast savanna. Then comes a traditional village, a waterfall, or a sunset by the sea.
You don’t come to Sumba for just one view.
You come to see how much one island can hold.

The journey from Labuan Bajo takes several hours, but the changing landscapes of Flores make the road part of the experience.
THE TRAIL
The trek from Denge to Wae Rebo takes approximately two to three hours, depending on your pace and physical condition.
THE ARRIVAL
At the village, you’ll be welcomed through a traditional ceremony before having the chance to experience the rhythm of daily life in Wae Rebo.
THE NIGHT
As the sun goes down, the village becomes quiet. Dinner, conversation, and a night spent inside Mbaru Niang — a traditional home unlike anywhere else you may have stayed.
THE MORNING
Wake up slowly, share breakfast with the local community, and take in the village before beginning the journey back down.
Wae Rebo is a mountain village, and reaching it requires a trek.
You should be prepared for an uphill hike on a natural mountain trail.
The village is remote, and the experience is intentionally simple. You will be staying in a traditional Mbaru Niang house, sharing the space with other travellers and members of the local community.
Mobile signal may be lost
This is not a conventional hotel stay.
And while whale shark encounters are one of the highlights of this journey, wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
Wae Rebo isn’t a place you simply arrive at. You have to make your way there.
The road takes you into the mountains, and the final stretch is on foot. It can be tiring, but that’s also what makes arriving in Wae Rebo feel different.
Take your time, enjoy the walk, and let the journey become part of the experience. The village, the people, and the night you spend there are only part of the story — getting there is too.
Warmly,
Katura

Two days on the water means a little bit of everything.
Early mornings. Long stretches of sea. Island walks. Swimming. Snorkeling. Wildlife. Sunsets. And the occasional moment where you realise you’ve completely lost track of what time it is.
DAY ONE
Settle into the rhythm of the sea.
Start with the calm waters of Kelor, explore the wild landscapes of Rinca, and end the day watching thousands of flying foxes leave Kalong Island at sunset.
DAY TWO
Wake up early. The view is worth it.
Climb Padar, swim at Pink Beach, float over the waters of Taka Makassar, and head out to Manta Point before making your way back to Labuan Bajo.
IN BETWEEN
There is plenty of time spent simply moving between the islands.
The sea, the breeze, the changing landscapes, and the people you’re sharing the journey with become part of the experience too.
You will spend most of your time outdoors and move between islands by boat. Expect island walks, trekking, swimming, snorkeling, and an early start on the second day. It’s a short trip, but the days can be full and active.
The itinerary may change depending on weather, sea conditions, tides, and operational considerations. Some destinations require walking or trekking, and conditions can be warm, sunny, or physically demanding at times.
We plan every journey carefully, but Komodo is nature — which means not everything can be guaranteed.

Two days may sound short, but there’s something special about getting away to sea even for a little while. From the moment you leave Labuan Bajo, the pace changes — there’s open water, island views, time in the water, and a sunset to end the day.
It’s a shorter version of the Komodo experience, but not one we want you to rush through. Come ready for an early start, a full day of exploring, and the simple joy of being out there. We’ll take care of the journey. You just have to enjoy the ride.
Warmly,

Life on the boat follows a different rhythm. Early mornings, warm afternoons, saltwater on your skin, and sunsets that make you want to stay a little longer. The days are a mix of movement and stillness, climbing to viewpoints, swimming in the sea, exploring islands, and finding time to simply slow down.
Wake Up Somewhere New
Every morning begins with a different view. Step outside, breathe in the sea air, and watch the islands slowly come to life before the day begins.
Follow The Tide
Spend your days moving between islands, climbing viewpoints, swimming in clear waters, and discovering what makes each stop along the journey unique.
Slow Down
Not every moment needs to be planned. Some of the best memories are made while watching the horizon, sharing stories on deck, or simply enjoying the quiet rhythm of life at sea.
This is a sailing trip, which means the sea is part of the experience.
You will spend most of your time outdoors and move between islands by boat. The exact order of the journey may change depending on weather, sea conditions, and operational considerations. Some experiences require walking, swimming, or climbing. And while we plan every journey carefully, Komodo is nature-which means not everything can be guaranteed.

Komodo is not a theme park.
It is wild, beautiful, and constantly changing.
Sometimes the sea decides that the itinerary needs to change. Sometimes the weather gives you a different sunset than the one you expected. And sometimes, the moments you remember most are the ones that were never part of the plan.
We will take care of the details. You just need to be ready to experience the journey.

This is not a trip where every day looks the same.
Some days begin with an early morning view. Some are spent in the water. Some take you through places you may never have heard of before.
And in between it all, there are long stretches of open sea
THE KOMODO DAY
Wake up somewhere completely different. This is the day of iconic views, pink shores, wild landscapes, and the possibility of meeting marine life beneath the surface. It is a full day, and there is plenty to see.
THE QUIETER WATERS
As the journey continues east, the scenery begins to change. The familiar Komodo landscapes slowly give way to quieter waters and less familiar places. There is more time on the boat. More open sea. And more of the feeling that you are actually going somewhere.
THE WHALE SHARK DAY
This is the day many people look forward to most. Head towards Saleh Bay and enter the water for the chance to encounter whale sharks in their natural environment. Afterwards, continue towards Gili Bedil and let the day slow down again.
THE LAST MORNING
There is one final island stop before the journey comes to an end. After Kenawa Island, the boat continues towards Lombok. The sea journey ends. The next part of your trip begins.
This is a long-distance sailing journey.
You will spend three nights on board and several days at sea, moving across a significant stretch of water between Labuan Bajo and Lombok.
The days can be long, the sea can be unpredictable, and the itinerary may change depending on weather and sea conditions.
Mobile signal may be limited in certain areas.
Some activities involve swimming, snorkeling, and spending extended periods in the water.
And while whale shark encounters are one of the highlights of this journey, wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
There are easier ways to get from Labuan Bajo to Lombok.
This is not necessarily one of them. But if you have the time, this journey gives you something a flight never could. Days spent crossing the sea. Places you would never see from the air. A chance to move slowly through a part of Indonesia that most people simply pass over.
You start with Komodo. You end in Lombok.
Everything in between is the adventure.
Warmly,
Katura
